HOW LONG WILL OMBRE BROWS LAST?
With proper aftercare, combined with the clients skin type, condition, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare regimes and products, ombre eyebrow tattoos can last up to 2 and a half years. Body Glow recommends an annual touch up to keep your eyebrows beautiful and fresh all year round.

Brow After Care Instructions
Aftercare is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. You should not let any water, lotion, soap or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days post your procedure. From the first night make sure you change your pillow case and keep area completely clean. You will let your tattoo "dry heal" for at least 4 to 5 days.
Make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post care which was given to you with a cotton swab. This can be done once or twice a day but be sure to use the cream sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself. Keeping it too moist will slow the healing process down. Continue to apply the aftercare for 7 days if needed only. Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the shower head or take a bath.
Please avoid the following activities for 14 days post the procedure
 • Increased sweating
 • Practicing sports
 • Swimming
 • Hat sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi
 • Sun tanning or Salon tanning
• UV/UVA rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in colour and premature fading
• Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/ or any creams containing resin A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck
 • Picking, peeling or scratching of the area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
 • Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris • Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
 • Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, motorcycles, boats or bicycles
 • Touching of the eyebrow area except when applying after care

You may experience some oozing of lymph on the area the day of your treatment. Pat dry your brows with a tissue to avoid premature build up of scabbing. After pat drying the area always apply a thin layer of aftercare. Itching and flaking may appear during the first 7 days post procedure. However, by following these aftercare instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.

Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, and/or any green/ yellow discharge that is foul in odour.

What To Expect After Your Treatment

The entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body regeneration and age. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the procedure. The colour and size of your eyebrow will appear much darker and thicker the next day.

Note that because of the skin regeneration, after recovery period, brows might appear lighter than original. This might give you the impression that the colour is fading too quickly. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin, However, this is the superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. 

The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 to 40 days after your procedure.
